Last weekend I started painting the nursery. We decided to go with a green room, because it reminds us of the outdoors and is pretty gender neutral. Sarah's parents bought us a quilt with a tree on it for Christmas, so we picked out some of the shades of green from that. Hopefully our baby shares the same appreciation for nature as Sarah and I, because it's going to be very green. I finished two walls, and have two to go. Lucky for me, there is still a TV in there to keep me going.
We got a crib from Adam and Crystal (we love hand-me-downs) and bought a dresser off of Craigslist. We have a nice bookshelf that my Grandpa built me when I was growing up. Sarah is having a hard time deciding on a rocker, but that is really the last piece of furniture we would like. We found all kinds of cool decorations to help make the room look like a baby's room, and we are trying our best not to run out and buy them right away.
