We had a wonderful memorial weekend. On Saturday, we went to Governor Nelson State Park for a grill out lunch with my parents and my brother's family. We even got in a nice hike while at the park. The heat is definitely affecting me more now that I'm pregnant. I just try to drink plenty of water. I did pretty well on the hike even though it was incredibly warm. I'm noticing that my feet and ankles are swelling up with the heat. In the evening we, along with my parents, met up with Eric's parents at Brat Fest. The baby got to attend her first rock concert. We saw a cover band called the Love Monkeys. At one point, a girl who was about one was put on stage with the band. I told Eric that our daughter will not be going on stage at age one. Since I don't like brats, the baby got to experience a veggie brat. On Sunday, we ran some errands, did some gardening and then went to my brother's for a grill out. Monday was spent recovering from being busy the past two days.
Our minds our constantly on the baby these days. She is so active inside of me that it is hard to think of anything else. I do really enjoy this time with her. I love to just sit and watch my belly move and feel for feet to push out.
