10 Weeks and Counting!

We had another appointment today. The baby and I are doing great! I had a glucose test today so hopefully we don't hear of any problems. It's getting really close to the big day. The doctor started discussing our birth plan and we scheduled all remaining appointments. We have even pre-registered with our hospital. Our next appointment is in two weeks, already.

Last night, Eric and I went to see Lion King, the musical. Every time a song started, the baby would start moving around. She seems to get quite active whenever there is music. She's pretty active these days. She used to stay pretty quiet when I would go to sleep, but now I feel her when I lay down to go to bed and when I wake up in the morning.

I've been feeling pretty good. I feel a little out of routine since I'm not running anymore. I've also been having some issues with seasonal allergies. I've never had a reaction to pollen before, but Eric is quite familiar. He is not very sympathetic since he's been dealing with allergies for so long. Otherwise, I've had some ligament pain and Braxton Hicks contractions, but nothing bad. My students continue to remind me that I am getting bigger. Today, I said hi to two of my students from last year. As soon as I was past them, I overheard one girls say, "see, she isn't waddling yet." I guess I should take this as a compliment.

We're also making progress on choosing a name. I've decided that we don't need to make a final decision until the baby is born. 70 more days!
