Baby Borchardt Goes to Italy!

We had an amazing time in Italy. The next several posts will be about our trip, but overall we had a great time. We traveled with Michael and Holly Reardon. I work with Holly. We spent 3 days in Rome, 3 days in Florence and 2 days in Venice. We ended up having a 24 hour flight delay in Rome, but we made it home on Monday.

During our last night in Venice, Eric and I went back to our hotel for a break before dinner. The baby was moving around quite a bit so we laid down and watched my stomach. We could actually see where she was hitting my stomach! It was pretty amazing. She seemed to do pretty well in Italy. I won't be suprised if she craves gelato. I may have had more than my fair share during the trip. Aparently I am also looking quite pregant because I had complete strangers asking me when I was due. That was pretty strange.

Although we had a great time, I am glad to be home and back to a regular routine. I told Eric that I've had enough excitement during this pregnancy. No more excitement until the big day.
