We had another great appointment today. I can't believe we've started in on the 6th month. We are officially at 5 months and 2 days. Today's appointment was pretty routine. The baby's heartrate was at 144. The nurse struggled a bit to get the heartrate because our baby is so active. The doctor said the baby and I are doing great. I gained another 3 pounds this month. I'm feeling pretty good these days. We discussed our upcoming trip to Italy with our doctor and she was very excited for us. She gave me a few tips for the flight, but mainly encouraged me to have a good time. She even said I could have a little wine!
Our doctor is switching clinics, but we found out that our insurance will still cover her. We were quite relived since we are so happy with our doctor. The new clinic will be even more convenient because it is located in one of the buildings where Eric works.
Our next step is to start looking for a pediatrician.
In other news, the baby completed her first 5K with me on Saturday. We took part in the Shamrock Shuffle in downtown Madison. I think she really likes running. :) Our preparations for the baby are coming along. We've registered at both Target and Babies R Us. I find that I am completely indecisive when it comes to picking out baby items.
Now, it's time to focus on Italy! We leave in 3 days!!!
