We had a great 4th of July weekend. We were able to get several projects accomplished and we spent time with friends and family. On Saturday, we went to Governor Dodge State Park for a few hours to see Eric's sister's family. They were camping for the weekend. Evelyn, our 18 month old niece, now comes up to me, points at my belly and says, "baby."
By the end of the weekend, I finally felt prepared for the baby to be born. It's a very good feeling. All of the major projects have been completed. On Tuesday, we had another appointment. We met the fourth and final doctor who may possibly deliver our baby. We felt very comfortable with her. Eric and I both agree that we would be okay having any of the four doctors for the delivery. They all seem to have a similar philosophy. The appointment was pretty brief. They did all of the regular checks. The doctor said that all of my numbers and the baby's numbers look great. She felt my stomach to make sure the baby is still in the correct position and she was head down again.
The baby could be born any day now, so Eric and I are getting even more anxious. It could be tomorrow, it could be 4 weeks from tomorrow. I don't know if I can handle this suspense. Eric has already decided that the baby will be born on the 14th, but the 15th would also be acceptable.
